Privacy Policy

Updated October 11, 2026. This notice describes information used by Decade 2 Publishing (d2p), a division of Continent 5 Media Group, Inc. (C5M), and its KleverBook® participation features.

Information we process

Account information includes your name, email, login credentials, account role, and information you provide for publishing. Author signup includes birth date for age screening. Where guardian approval is required, we process guardian review and consent information. Agreement records include the accepted version and text, account identity, and acceptance time.

Publishing information includes uploaded manuscripts, covers, chapter structure, book details, enrollment drafts, and author confirmations. Reading activity may include saved position, downloads, reader sessions, ad impressions, clicks, and completion records. Orders include delivery email, purchased book, amounts, payment references, and shipping details where relevant.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate accounts, check author eligibility, review and deliver books, enforce reading and advertising schedules, maintain consent records, calculate eligible earnings, prevent misuse, and provide support. Age screening is automated; guardian verification requires the review process and is not established by a checkbox alone.

Service providers process information needed for hosting, storage, email, payments, and print fulfillment. Stripe handles payment and payout onboarding; its own privacy notice applies to information provided directly to Stripe. A print fulfillment provider receives the book files and delivery details required for your print order. Linked retailers and websites manage information under their own policies. We may disclose information when legally required or to investigate fraud and security problems.

Cookies and communication

Session cookies support sign-in and access controls. Order and service messages support account operation and delivery. This notice does not treat continued browsing as consent to optional marketing or nonessential tracking. Where optional features require consent, that consent must be obtained separately.

Young authors

Online author signup is unavailable to children under 13. Authors aged 13–17 require verified guardian approval before publishing or receiving payouts. If an under-13 author account has been created or age information is incorrect, contact support so we can restrict participation and review the data. Do not submit sensitive guardian evidence through public book descriptions.

Retention, choices, and security

We retain information needed to operate the service, document agreements and transactions, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Account closure may not immediately remove records that must be retained for those purposes. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting info@c5m.world; applicable legal requirements may limit deletion. Do not send passwords or payment card details in support messages.

We use access controls and payment providers, but no system guarantees absolute security. Hosting and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Contact info@c5m.world for privacy questions or to report a concern. Material changes will be reflected in this notice and communicated where required.
